Mark is survived by his wife Dolores, his daughter Leeann, five grandchildren, and two brothers, Douglas and David. He was unexpectedly preceded in death by his youngest daughter Dana.
Mark enjoyed living most of his life in Merced, CA. He was a member in good standing with the Elks Lodge, Merced division, and had many friends there.
Mark held many sales positions over the years. He was an experienced salesman and merchandiser for Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, and Pepsi Cola. He finally was able to retire from Pepsi in 2005 in order to spend more time with Dolores and his growing family.
Mark paid close attention to the small details because they mattered to him. He liked things neat and tidy; his home, car, and work reflected the same. Everything had its place.
One of Mark’s favorite passions was golf: Playing the game, watching the game on TV, and snoozing through the game. Mark would wash, wax, and detail cars, trucks, even motorhomes for extra golf money.
Mark’s last few months were quite a struggle, always with the hope that he would return home. Sadly, he passed away Saturday, early morning, April 13, 2024.
Mark will be tremendously missed by his family. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but Mark’s memory will live on in the many hearts he has touched over his 77 years of life he was blessed with.
I love you, Dad ❤️
