Marie Dora Hernandez, passed away on February 20, 2015 in Atwater, California. Marie was born in 1929 and lived all of her life in Merced County. She worked as a beautician at Gottschalks, a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and a food demonstrator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Albert “Beto” G. Hernandez, who passed away in February 2014 and daughter, Rita Guerrero.
Marie Dora lives on through her children, Francisca Romero, Frank P. Romero, John Romero, Anthony Romero, and Patrick Valenzuela; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Merced District Cemetery.
