Lynda Joyce Eirich born August 15, 1950 to Walter P. and Jackie Roduner, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 16, 2021 at the age of 71 after a 26 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A native of Merced, California, she grew up on the Roduner Ranch located south of the city of Merced. This way of life steered Lynda to have a passion for the outdoors whether it was as an avid golfer, gardener, equine enthusiast, competitive trap shooter, hunter, and co-owner of the Ground Zero Motorsports nostalgia front-engine dragster, and even working with wood, making beautiful furniture that adorns the family home.
Lynda married John Eirich on her birthday in 1970. She worked for Montgomery Farms as an Agricultural Administrative Assistant until her retirement. Lynda had a magnetic personality that attracted many friends throughout her life. Her smile, quick wit and beautiful presence are remembered by all who met her. She always had a story about a dog, a horse, pack trips, vacations, the ranch, drag racing or any other experience she lived, and shared them with everyone.
She is survived by her two children: son Evan (Paula), and her daughter Sadie (Scott) Davis, grandson Aiden Davis, other kids Jeff Joyner and Dana Silva Joyner, grandest kids Lily and Addie Joyner, brother Walter Roduner, Merced, sister Judy Klingen, New Braunfels, TX, and Janie (Jim) Flies, Palmdale, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband John in 2017, sister Kelly Pruitt, and her parents.
Extra special thank you to her caretakers Vaola Chavez, Yolanda Anguilano, and Wilai Xiong, and also to SEVA Hospice for their coordination through every step of her care.
Celebration of life will be held at Merced Elks Lodge, 1910 M Street, Merced, CA 95340, on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon.
In-Lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions to be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at www.msfocus.org
