Lori Mendonca

April 6, 1961-Feb. 4, 2012

Lori was born in Merced on April 6, 1961. She belonged to Christian Church of the Valley on Cherry St. in Merced. She passed away February 4, 2012 with her family by her side. Her faith in God and His promise of eternal life never wavered.

Lori married the love of her life, Rick Mendonca, on July 18, 1981. They had two sons, Danny & Andrew. Lori worked for Farmers Insurance and later ran a day care business when her boys were young. Later she worked for Kirby Manufacturing. Then in 2005 she graduated from the School of Cosmetology. She worked for Vijaiz Salon in Merced. She loved her job and patrons.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents; Howard & Juanita Prine, Elizabeth Landers, and her brother; Gregory Prine.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Mendonca; sons, Daniel Mendonca (Nicole) & Andrew Mendonca (Christie); grandchildren, Hannah, Royce, Payton, & Nathaniel; mother, Jeanne Prine-Moore; her father, Gary Prine (Karen); sister, Susan Zirnhelt (Michael); brother, Christopher Prine (Michelle); brother & sister in laws, Wilma Prine, David Mendonca (Patrice), Christina Alley, Michael Mendonca (Dawn), & Jennifer Bertuccio (Michael); and her many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Services will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Christian Church of the Valley, 2212 Cherry Ave, Merced, CA at 10:00A.M.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Hinds Hospice, 410 W. Main St., Ste A, Merced, CA 95340 would be appreciated.
