Linda Daniel Castro

Linda Daniel Castro, age 70, of Atwater, California passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Linda Daniel Castro was born on December 14, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona to parents Sara Jennie Daniel and Angel Daniel.

Linda worked as a CNA for 10 years and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church for many years.

She is survived by her children Lupe E. Villanueva and son in law Russ B. Villanueva, Catina Murphy and Andrea Solis; brothers Angel Daniel, Joe Daniel, Edward Padron, and Manuel Padron; sisters Teresa Torres and Sara B. Daniel; grandchildren Christina Villanueva, Catina Villanueva, Russ S. Villanueva, Monique Madrid, Susana Quintero, Anthony Solis-Murphy, Carlos Lomeli Jr., Adrian Lomeli, Brittany Lomeli and Alyssa Lomeli; great grandchildren Raymond Madrid Jr. and Hunter Madrid; caregivers Nancy Esparza and Lisa Stingley.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother Sara Jennie Daniel, Sisters Mary Baez, Yolanda Daniel and Alice Hartley and Brother Frank Padron.

Linda also loved when her granddaughter did her nails and her daughter Lupe did a French braid in her hair. Linda Castro was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She loved spending hours shopping at her favorite store, Walmart. She also loved watching her soap operas and Judge Judy, while eating her junk food and drinking her favorite soda. My mother will be greatly missed. Love you always and forever, your daughter Lupe.

I remember all of our long talks and stories of her life she would share. We would often comfort each other. She loved us all in her own way, especially her children and grandchildren.
