Karen Dee Mimler

June 2, 1952 - April 2, 2025

Karen Mimler passed away on April 2, 2025 at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. She was 72.

Karen Dee Mimler was born June 2, 1952 at Fort Dix in Wrightstown, New Jersey to Arthur Mimler and Thena Knight Mimler.

Karen enjoyed a fulfilling life of friends, activities and field trips thanks to the daily care of the compassionate people at Pacific Care Homes/Aspen Residential in Fresno. She had a love for food, her doll collection, and animals. She had a bright and cheerful smile and made friends wherever she went. Karen recently visited Disneyland, and it was fitting that her last trip would be to the "Happiest Place on Earth."

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Thena Mimler; and her brother-in-law, Francis Mitchell Boze.

Karen is survived by her sister, Cathi Boze of Catheys Valley and her niece and her husband, Tanya and Brian Hughes of Catheys Valley.

There will be a private family burial at the Catheys Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
