John William Rouse
August 21, 1925 – January 28, 2018
IN THE CARE OF
John W. Rouse was born on August 21, 1925 in Pennsylvania and passed away at the age of 92 on January 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
John grew up in Merced and graduated from Merced High School. He joined the United States Army, United States Air force and was stationed in Cookeville, Tennessee. After his service he moved back to California and lived in San Jose, California before moving back to Merced. John belonged to the Central Presbyterian Church in Merced. He was an avid golfer and belonged to the Merced Golf and Country Club.
John is preceded in death by his son, John Kent Rouse as well as his brothers, sister, and parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Joan Rouse, his grandson and two great grandchildren.
Private ceremony will be held for his immediate family.
