Jesus H. Lopez was born June 7, 1923 in Torjes, Jalisco, Mexico and passed away July 11, 2014 in Merced, California at the age of 91 years.
Jesus was preceded in death by his wife Mercedes Lopez. He is survived by his sons, George Lopez, Paul Lopez, and Jess Lopez; daughters, Stella Guzman, Maryellen Garcia, Esperanza Lopez, and Rosario Lopez; and sister, Teresa Godinez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Merced. Burial followed at Merced District Cemetery.
