Edward M Saenz

Edward Michael Saenz was born on January 28th, his Mother’s birthday, 1955, in San Francisco, California. Eddie passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2024 under Hospice Care at UCSD hospital. He was raised in San Francisco, Berkeley and San Leandro. Eddie is a graduate of Marina High School class of 1973.

Eddie was a person with big dreams, and elaborate plans in the things that interested him most - music and food service. His outgoing personality led to him meeting new people with ease. Knowing people in these businesses opened the doors for him to hone his skills with organizing and producing events in both of these areas.

He is survived by his siblings Richard (Steven) and Rosanne (Robert); his nephew Giovanni Fissore (Elania), nieces Nina Ramos and Lela Saenz;.and great nephews Antonio and Enrique Ramos; and great niece Adriana Fissore.

Family was of great importance to Eddie. Having been born into two large families with an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins and their extended families he always looked forward to those special occasions when the families gathered. We are thankful for all of our family members and friends who reached out to connect with Eddie and help him over the years.
