Edith Lorraine Murray was born on August 12, 2018. She was eighty- nine years old. She was a housewife and raised four children. She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Merced County Fireman’s Muster team. Her and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Murray of Merced, Ca., they were married for 66 years; her brothers Harley Marshall of Heisperia, Ca., Norman Marshal of Chowchilla, Ca.; her sister, Barbara Armond of Turlock, Ca. and her great grandson Lil Vinne Bermejo of Merced, Ca.
She is survived by her four sons Leroy, Harold, Dale and Kevin Murray all from Merced, Ca.; two granddaughters, Rebecca and Sarah Murray of Merced and 6 great grandchildren.
Edith has moved on to be with her husband and family up in heaven. There will be a visitation for Edith on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. and a funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:30 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery located at 32053 W. McCabe Rd, Santa Nella, Ca.
