Edgar Eugene Britt II “Gene” was born on December 4, 1963 in Glendale, AZ and passed away after a tragic accident on October, 19, 2012 at Doctors Hospital in Modesto, CA at the age of 48.

Gene loved fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was quiet, kind, shy, gentle, and always had a smile on his face. Oh and how he loved his beer and his mama!

He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock & Roll and his favorite was AC/DC. So for those about to rock-WE SALUTE YOU! for Gene!!!

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian Marcelle and Edgar Eugene Britt; grandparents; aunts; and uncles.

He left behind his daughter, Kayley (Britt) Missouri; sons, Noah (Britt) Missouri, Gavin (Britt) Harris, and Skyler Edgar Eugene Britt; sister, Janeen Chantay Britt; ½ sister, Karen Walker; ½ brother, Ronnie Britt; uncle, Kenneth Britt; aunt, Billie Clement; nieces, Brandi and Marshell Britt; nephew, Robert Perryman; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All who loved him very much.

Visitation will be at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 11:00am-2:00pm with services to follow at 2:00pm. A reception will follow in the reception hall.
