Dale resided his whole life in Le Grand, California and graduated for Le Grand High School (LGHS) in 1979.
He was the owner and operator of "Merced Machine Service" at 201 South Highway 59 for 30 years. At “the shop” is where Dale became the go to motor mechanic. Here his customers quickly became friends.
Dale also had a great love for drag racing, he enjoyed spending many hours at the racetrack with one of his best pals Garey Hardee. He was also an avid sports fan. You could often find him watching a San Francisco Giants, a Golden State Warriors, a San Francisco 49ers game, also NACAR or listening to KNBR 680 on the radio. He also loved his classic Rock N Roll and Country music.
Dale is survived by his wife and life partner Michelle Harmon and his stepson Nate Boyle (Elizabeth and sons Clayton and Cameron), his two daughters Jill Harmon, Valerie Garcia (Alex), parents Beverly and Glendale Harmon, sister Tambra Armenta (Ed), her nieces and nephew.
His viewing will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home at 1490 B Street, a Graveside Service will be held immediately after at 12:30 p.m. at Helms and Turner Cemetery on Savannah Road in Le Grand, California. A Reception will be held at 12560 Le Grand Road, Le Grand, California, Known to all as the Legion Hall.
