Since 2004, Carolyn was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital.
Carolyn was preceded in death by husband, James L. Ford and sister, Alma Schreffler.
She leaves behind her sons, Dean (Shirley) Ford and Clyde (Melisha) Ford; daughter, Becky (Bob) Myers; sister, Doris (Bill) Duncan; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 niece and 2 nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Central Presbyterian Church of Merced, 1920 Canal St., Merced, CA at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the Central Presbyterian Church of Merced, 1920 Canal St., Merced, CA 95340 or to Hinds Hospice of Merced, 410 W. Main St., Ste A, Merced, CA 95340.
