Arturo Anthony Fuentes Sr. was born on January 4, 1954 in Braunfels, Texas to his parents Louis Fuentes and Clara Garcia. Arturo passed at the age of 69 on January 12, 2023 in Merced, California. He lived in Merced for 48 years and worked in construction and landscaping. Arturo is survived by his wife Rose M. Fuentes, Mother Clara Garcia, son Arthur Anthony Fuentes Jr.; daughters Marcie Ann Fuentes, Catrina Clara Fuentes and Naomi Rose Fuentes; brother Adolf Garcia; sisters Anita blunt, Dora Torres and Polly Maldonado; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Arturo is preceded in death by his dad Louis Fuentes; Brother Larry Fuentes and sister Mary Jane Ballesteros. Arturo loved to listen to oldies, landscaping, traveling, boxing, watching movies and eating candy. He most of all loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Arturo will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Merced First assembly of God, 1350 Yosemite Parkway, Merced, CA 95341.
