Adolph R Cardenas was born September 27, 1926 in Tolleson, Arizona. Adolph R Cardenas, age 97, of Merced, California passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Adolph worked 14 years at South Pacific Railroad Merced, California and 30 years at Delmote in Stockton, California. He served 3 years in World War II; in 1944-1946, he served in Korea as an Occupational Troop. Adolph then joined the American Legion and was a member since 1976. After the military he played for the Aztecs (Baseball) 2nd Base.
He is survived by his two children Catherine Mary Campos (Christian) and Armando Cardenas (Gloria), six grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren and six Great Great-Grandchildren.
Adolph is preceded in death by his grandchildren Rudy Palma and Dominique Campos, Great Grandchildren Dominic Felix and Noah Felix.
