Pamela J. Buchholz-Kaw passed away February 8, 2023, at her home in Hemet, Ca. She was 64. In 1980, Pam married William Kaw. They were married for 42 years and made their home in the Temecula Valley. Upon retirement, they moved to Prescott Valley Az. They split their retirement time between Az and visiting grandchildren in Menifee, Ca.
Pam was born December 6, 1958, in Woodland, Ca. to Jim and Esther Buchholz. She graduated from Woodland High School with the class of 1977.
Pam worked in banking for 9 years. After her youngest daughter was born, Pam worked for the Temecula Valley Unified School District as an Instructional Assistant for 23 years, 17 of those at Temecula Valley High School. Pam was involved in many of the school’s activities and was loved by staff and students.
She attended Sunridge Community Church in Temecula, and later, Cornerstone Church of Prescott Az. At Sunridge, she made lifelong friends with a group of ladies who have remained close for over 30 years.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Jim Buchholz, grandparents, John and Frieda Buchholz, uncles, Dale, Don, and Coleman Buchholz, aunt, Helen Buchholz, and cousins, Jeff and Colman Buchholz.
Pam is survived by her husband Bill and daughter Leslie Kaw of Prescott Valley, Az., daughter Amy Thomas and husband Dave, grandsons Nathan, Zachary, and Daniel of Menifee, Ca., daughter Cheryl (Stone) Miller and husband Jeff of Murrieta, Ca., her mother Esther Hutchinson and sister Gaylene Earp of Saratoga Wy, and sister Leilani Mietzner and husband Keith of Buhl Id., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
