Maria worked as a preschool teacher for 25 years.

Maria is survived by her son Huzay Haro (Anita); her son Joel Haro (Francine); her son Ivan Haro (Claudia); her daughter Jazmin Yiegh (Marco); and her son Omar Haro(Jessica).
