Jose was born on January 2nd, 1963, to Hermelinda and Vicente Ortiz. He was married to Maria L Cervantes whom he had four kids with: Gerardo, Griselda, Viridiana and Daisy Ortiz. He had a total of 6 grandkids: Breanna, Christopher, Jacqueline, Millie, Liam and Kain.

The faith you had in God never wavered, even in the face of your health issues and difficult times in your life. We will forever cherish the moments we had with you. Your grandkids will have the fondest memories of you tossing a ball and playful fighting. Will never forget you dad! We could not have asked for a better father. Funeral Services will be held on 12/19, 4pm-8pm @Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee CA, 92585.
Mass will be held on 12/20, 11:30am at St. Martha Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Road, Murrieta, CA 92563.
