For many of us, Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year. We spend time with family and friends, and have special Christmas customs and traditions. All of these are very nice, but do they convey the true meaning of Christmas?
"There is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11). CHRISTmas is the day  that we celebrate the birth of the Christ-Jesus the Son of God.
My first Christmas in over 30 years without my beloved husband David Foster! Rest in heaven my love! I miss you every day! You are now home with our Savior... and "still smiling!" Your loving wife.

We could not attend today’s Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Foster, but we have decades of fond memories of his work, love, and care for the Body of Christ both in San Diego and Temecula. Today, we celebrate his life and pray for each of you by name both now and in the days ahead🙏🏾🙏🏾💜

My dear Uncle Johnny❤️. My grandpas brother who filled in for him because my grandpa lived in another state many miles away. I will forever cherish the memories over the years but especially my childhood. I love you and glad you are finally at rest peacefully and watching over us.

Life is just a stepping-stone
A pause before we make it home
A simple place to rest and be,
Until we reach eternity.
Everyone has a life journey,
A path to take with lots to see
God guides our steps along the way,
But we were never meant to stay.
Our final destination is a place
Filled with love, His majesty and grace.
Today we celebrate the life of a loved one
Who has gone before us, the race he has won.
His journey has now ended,
His spirit has ascended
Claiming the great reward
With Jesus, our Lord.

Uncle Johnnie Foster aka "Uncle David." I will never forget my first time meeting you in San diego, California shortly after you and my Aunt Lucy Foster married. You were soft spoken, kind, and carried an arua of confidence, respect, and dignity as you greeted me at the airport to pick me up. My beautiful Aunt Lucy was always blessed to have the option to have the pick of the Litter, and it was you! Great choice Auntie!!! I knew if my Aunt Lucy picked you you had to be something special, because that's just how she rolled.😉😁 You were all that she said you were; tall, dark, and handsome just to name a few. I've always told you thank you SO MUCH for loving and honoring my Aunt Lucy the way you did, and promised from the day you got married. You are loved and forever will truly be missed! May your soul rest in peace until we meet again. Love your Nephew, Jerry❤️
