Helen Marie Patterson

Helen Marie Patterson, age 80, of Menifee, California, passed away on February 15, 2024. Born on December 16, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Helen overcame a childhood marked by the early loss of her parents, facing the world with notable resilience and a persistent sense of humor that endeared her to all.

A loyal employee, Helen dedicated 19 years of service to Safeway/Vons, where she worked as a deli clerk and retired as an assistant manager in 2000. She took pleasure in life's simple joys, often found with a book in hand, scoring strikes at the local bowling alley, playing softball, cheering for the Dodgers, or testing her luck with slot machines.

Helen's memory is cherished by her beloved husband, James Patterson; sons, Glenn and Craig Patterson; daughter, Jamie Debold; siblings, Bob Williamson, May West, Fran Velasquez, and Teddy Williamson; four grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents James and Thelma Williamson, sister Mary Mercer, and brothers Luis and Ray Williamson.

The family invites friends and loved ones to a Memorial Service on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at Miller Jones Chapel, 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, California. The team at Miller Jones funeral home is providing compassionate care and assistance during this time.

Helen's life, characterized by strength, compassion, and an indomitable spirit, will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
