Joyce V. Krause, age 84, died peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Appleton Healthcare Center. She was born on May 2, 1930, in Antigo, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late William and Lucinda (Opper) Baxter. Joyce was united in marriage to Emery Krause on November 26, 1949, in Antigo. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, baking and spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by two daughters: Darlene (Anthony Jr.) Wyngaard and Linda (Francis) Wyngaard, all of Kaukauna; one son, Norman (Cindy) Krause, Neenah; 9 grandchildren: Tony Wyngaard, Eric (Sandy) Wyngaard, Michele (Robert) Rusch, Adam (Jamie) Wyngaard, Elizabeth (Rich) Kilgas, Jodie (special friend, Dan) Wyngaard, Scott, Todd and Kasey (Fiance Josh Kimball) Krause; eight great-grandchildren: Samantha, Micheala and Tabatha Wyngaard, Isabela and Johnathan Wyngaard, Trebor and Lexi Rusch, and Emma Wyngaard; three sisters: Roxy Pegues, Eva Fronek and Carol Jean Haas; one brother, Lyle Baxter and two sisters-in-law, Frances Baxter and Bernita Baxter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery, two sons: Edward and Andrew; six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Paider officiating. Friends and family may visit at the CHURCH from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. John Cemetery, Menasha.
