Harold N. Heller, age 70, of Menasha, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. On March 23, 1942, Harold Norbert was born in Stockbridge, Wisconsin, to the late Adolph and Loraine (Schmitz) Heller. He served his county honorably in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Harold was united in marriage to Loretta Schmitt on October 14, 1967 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and camping with his family. After a long career at Kimberly-Clark where Harold earned many domestic and international awards and patents, he retired in 2005. He had many diverse interests ranging from a passion for science and technology to landscaping and investing. He was a man with strong faith, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha, and enjoyed bible study.
Harold loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Loretta; their children: Brenda Heller, Bayside, WI; Kevin Heller, Sheboygan, WI; Duane (Sarah) Heller, Portland, OR; his grandchildren: Austin Mael, Tristyn Heller, Matthew Heller; extended family: Dawn Herber; Steven and Justin Kramer, Kyle and Maximus Herber; his brother, David (Suzanne) Heller; sisters-in-law: Agnes (Frances) Wenig and Monica Knauf; brothers-in-law: Albert (Cindy) Schmitt and Ronald Schmitt; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn (Heller) Laska; a niece, Lizbeth Heller; a nephew, David Laska; and his brothers-in-law: Kenneth Schmitt and Thomas Knauf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, January 25, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in the Town of Menasha.
