Mr. Wells was my shop teacher in 1962 when I was a 9th grader at Gragg. At 63 I continue to relate the story about our 1st day of shop class. Mr. Wells had a huge selection of paddles which he proceeded to show our class, slapping each on his metal desk. He finished with one of his favorites, a shaved down baseball bat, wrapped in tape. Mr. Wells then invited the toughest guy in class to come forward, just to set the right tone. I can tell you that there were no takers and even though I was terrible at shop it was one of my favorite classes. God bless you Mr. Wells for you touched a lot of life's and for me will never be forgotten. I am just sorry I could not attend to pay my last respects.

Mr. Wells was a wonderful teacher.  I had him for math and shop class in the 7th grade at Gragg Jr. High and he left a lasting impression in my life.  Mr. Wells taught my older brother, Joe too and my brother's life long passion of wood working came from Mr. Wells.  Joe passed away last year, January 19th. Prayers surrounding the family.  Our hearts go out for your loss.

To Karen and Sherry - I am sorry I cannot be there with you for this service. It is a major passing in our lives. It is exceptionally pleasing to know the 10 grandkids are communicating and enjoy each other's company. With all our respects Bob, Catherine, Clare, Laura and Erin - the downunder mob !
