Wanda is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Connie Emery (John), Thomas C.k Sutton (Michelle), and Whitney Sutton (Eric McNutt). She is also survived by her sister Peggy Jones (Larry). She is survived by six grandchildren: Drew Sutton (Fowler), Chris Emery (Pouneh), Sarah Sutton, (Clay Lichterman), Audrey Frazier (Jordan), Rebecca McNutt, and Dana Mcnutt. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Wanda was born on August 30, 1932. She married the love of her life, Tom, on February 18, 1949. They spent 69 years together being a great example of a loving marriage. Wanda was an exceptional nurse but the true joy of her life was raising her three children. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be held Wednesday, August 1, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue. Her funeral will be held Thursday, August 2, at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Wanda's life.
