She lived most of her life in Memphis, TN but grew up in Saulsbury, TN where she graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1962. Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She loved cooking for her family, quilting, reading, and gardening. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. She loved the Lord, her family and friends and had a heart for serving others.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband, Henry Chapman of 59 years; her daughter, Katie Smith (Richard); grandson, Luke Smith and son-in-law, Phillip Henderson; her sisters, Louise Callahan, Peggy Capshaw (Sam), Joan Teague (Garry); her brothers, Jim Harrison (Margie), and Gary Harrison. She and her love, Henry, were both one of nine children and for that she also leaves her brother and sister-in-laws along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Chapman Henderson; her parents, Gillis and Ione Harrison; her mother and father-in-law, Virgil and Evelyn Sutton, and brothers, Bruce Harrison, Cordell Harrison, and Jerry Harrison.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with graveside services immediately following at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
