Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Flaucie Jones, his brother Andrew Jones, and his stepchildren Robin Taylor and Buddy Watson.
Terry leaves behind his adoring wife of 50 years, Jan, his daughters, Mandy Jordan (Jimmy) and Brandy Thomas (Pat), and his stepdaughter Jan Kathy Simpson. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Isabel, Nic, Lucy, Kyleigh, Jamey, Levi, Hallie, and Riley, and his stepgrandchildren Ray Simpson, Kimberly Hoy, Beau Watson, and Carter Watson.
Terry also leaves behind his brothers, Casey Jones and Lanny Jones, his sister-in-law Kathy Jones, and many nieces and nephews.
Terry grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where he worked many different jobs from the time he was a boy, with his longstanding career being an 18-wheeler body repairman, from which he was retired.
Terry was fiercely loyal to his family and to his many friends. One of his favorite pastimes was hanging around trading stories with his buddies at the corner store.
He was a gun and knife collector and enjoyed watching a good Western, especially with his wife Jan.
The family will honor his memory with an informal memorial gathering held at Family Funeral Care.
