Tammi Rhea Dunn, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021 surrounded by her family in Covington, TN. She was born to the late Robert and Johnnie “Marjorie” Mahar in Memphis, TN. Tammi was a true servant of the Lord who loved spreading the gospel. Anytime she talked to people she made sure to let them know Jesus loved them. Tammi loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered as loving wife, mother, grandmother “maw”, and friend. Tammi was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Rayford Dunn; her parents, Robert and Johnnie “Marjorie” Mahar; her grandparents, Joseph “Oce” and Myrtle Mahar and her brother, Joe Mahar. She is survived by her three children, Johnnie Butterly (Shaun), Daniel Dunn (Jillian), Leslie Kay Dunn Richardson (Mike), and a sister, Sherry Tarbutton (Jimmy). Tammi also leaves behind five grandchildren, Vashti Butterly, Carley Dunn, Hoyt Butterly, Nolyn Dunn, Zeddie Richardson; two nieces, Ginna Huskins, Bonnie Mahar; a great niece, Savannah Shrum; a great nephew, Riley Huskins and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave Memphis, TN 38122. Burial will follow at Morning Sun Cemetery in Cordova, TN.
