Robbie "Sue" Rhodes, age 79, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born in Jackson, TN on July 13, 1942 to the late William Robert Patterson and Annie Ruth Case Patterson of Gadsden, TN.
Sue was a proud and faithful member of Grace Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Memphis, TN for over 40 years. She worked for St. Francis Hospital Park for many years before her retirement. Sue was a very creative and extremely talented artist. She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, drawing and cross stitching. She was a wonderful cook and she loved her coffee. Sue's entire life has been a dedicated Christian, a loving wife and mother, a faithful and loyal friend and a wonderful blessing to all of those that knew her. This precious, Godly woman who is now rejoicing with Jesus, will be greatly missed.
Sue is survived by her husband of 61 years, Regie Rhodes and her daughters, Sharon and Linda Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Moma Jenkins and brother- in - law R. C. Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with services to follow at Grace Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 828 Berclair Rd., Memphis, TN 38122. Brother Zack Guess and Brother Isaac Guess will be officiating. She will be laid to rest at Gadsden Cemetery, 116 Church St., Gadsden, TN 38337 following a brief reception.
