She was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ronna was born on October 12, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Barton and Nelda Smalley. She grew up with her siblings, Denny and Reta, and remained close to them throughout her life. Her brother, Jerry, preceded her in death.
For nearly 30 years, Ronna worked for Belz Enterprises, where she formed many close bonds with her colleagues. She loved her job and took pride in her work every day.
Ronna's greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Robert (deceased) and Michael, and did everything she could to provide for them and give them a good life. She also shared a deep and loving relationship with her longtime boyfriend, Jeff Aldrich.
Ronna will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering loyalty to those she loved, and her infectious smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ronna is survived by her son, Michael McRae, her father, Barton Smalley, her siblings, Denny and Reta, her boyfriend, Jeff Aldrich, and many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation for Ronna will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122, followed by a celebration of life service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
