Ronald Eugene Taylor was born November 12, 1958 in Memphis, TN to the late Verdell Echols Taylor and Howard Richardson. He was the fourth of eight children. Ronald graduated from Melrose High School in 1976. He attended University of Tennessee at Knoxville but later transferred to and graduated from Christian Brothers University where he received a Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy.
He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized and joined Prospect C.M.E. Church, he was a dedicated and an active member for more than 40 years.
Ronald was committed to serving his church and community. He helped so many people in many ways, including bringing them to Christ by providing rides to and from church, and cooking food just to bring people together. Ronald was a good example of how we as Christians should live our lives with FAITH. The love that he had for his church, life, family, friends, and coworkers surpasses anything that you could have imagined.
Ronald was employed at Methodist University as a Respiratory Therapist; he also worked at Federal Express and after 30 years there he retired.
He leaves to cherish his memories two(2) brothers Delbert(Delois)Echols, and Reginald(Rebecca)Taylor, four(4) sisters Joyce Mickey, Paula(James)Campbell, Pamela(Harold)Amos, and Marlene Todd; two aunts Eunice Bradford; Lou Holloway; one uncle; Raymond(Lillie) Richardson; six nieces; Jessica Mickey; Jennifer(Kenneth) Taylor; Andrea(Jeremy) Greer; Melanie Kendall; Raven and Jeanell Jones; two nephews; Marlon Leaks and Jerrad Taylor; five great nieces; Kennede and Keliyah Taylor; Trinity Gilkey; Madison Richardson; Wyndzer Taylor; three great nephews; Florin and Carter Kendall; Jaxson Taylor; five special friends of over 40 years Karen Camper, Audrey Smith , Marvin Haliburton; Errol Jones; Brenda Webster; one god-sister, Teri Gipson; and a goddaughter, Tanisha Williams.
