Robert Harlem Walker

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Laree; his mother, father & sisters, 1 brother, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

Robert is survived by his sister Mary Bledsoe; brother James Walker; his five children John (Murlene) Walker, Susan (Kevin) Wilharm, Donny (Hope) Walker, Jodie (Aric) Griffin and Tommye (Dennis) Campbell; 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Robert worked at PMC for 34 years. He attended Range Hills Baptist and Abundant Family Fellowship. He will be dearly missed.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, December 3 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be on Friday, December 4 beginning at 2:00 p.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. An escorted procession will lead to the burial service following the funeral. For those unable to attend the Friday funeral, the service may be viewed via LiveStream at www.memphisfuneralpoplar.com.
