ROBERT L. “Bob” GRESHAM, 80, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Germantown, TN after a long illness. He was born in Memphis, TN, the son of Carrie Reed Gresham and Clay W. Gresham. He graduated Southside High School in 1950, served with 101st Airborne Division, US Army, Ft. Jackson, SC. After his discharge, he returned to Memphis State College to finish his degree, graduating with first University Class in January 1958. He was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church, Collierville, TN, where he served as a Deacon and in many other areas of leadership over the years. He enjoyed woodworking and sharing his many talents in this field. He retired with The Lawrence McFadden Company, Philadelphia, PA as a technical sales rep. He leaves his wife, Mary Katherine Gresham, one daughter, Marilee (Cameron) Walker, one granddaughter, Bella Walker of Arlington, TN; one sister, Betty G. Blackburn of Germantown, TN and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue, Friday, November 30. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1 at Covenant Baptist Church, 3170 Houston Levee Road, Collierville, TN. Private interment will follow in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
