Dear Suzy and family:  I am sorry to hear of the passing of Rita - what an inspiration she was to so many people.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Your dad and mother meant the world to our family.  Dr. Satterfield did surgery on my mom and one of my aunts. Mrs. Satterfield was exceptionally kind to us. We met them through Mrs. Lula Hill, our neighbor.  Even in the 1950s, your mother was so very kind to people of all races. They possessed healing hands. Their patients felt we knew you because we heard so much about you while we were in the exam/treatment room.  You and your family have our deepest sympathy.
