Richard Vernon Wills, age 71, passed away March 21, 2021. He was born September 11, 1949 in Jackson, Tennessee. He graduated from Central High School, Memphis, Tennessee and attended Memphis State University. He was president of Wills Construction, Inc. and W & W Concrete, Inc. Richard was a avid duck hunter and fisherman and later in life, found a love for cooking.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lisa Davis Wills; children, Rob Wills, Suzanne Stanford (Aaron), and Allison Paschal (Lyle); step-children, Melissa Davis and Dr. Christopher Davis; grandchildren, Britton, Camille, and Barron Stanford; and step-grandson, Kristian Hatfield. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Robison Wills and grandparents, George and Sadie Lou Robison.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 26 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 10:00 AM, at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel. Graveside committal services will be held at 2:30 PM, in Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, Tennessee. If you prefer to send a memorial donation in lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent to the American Heart Association.
