Richard Henry Cobb

Richard Henry Cobb, 70, of Bartlett, passed away on January 10, 2015, at Methodist North Hospital. Mr. Cobb was the son of the late Jasper and Annie Podesta Cobb. Richard was a certified public accountant, and he retired as the Budget Analyst at the Naval facility in Millington. Following his retirement, he worked with H & R Block for several years. A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Cobb often volunteered at the Veteran’s Affairs office and St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, serving as treasurer there. Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juanita Bizzle Cobb; their son, Ricky Cobb (Lori Wells); his brother, Freddie Cobb (Kay); and his nephew, Jeff Cobb. The family will gather with friends on Wednesday, January 21, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3700 North Germantown Road in Bartlett.
