I'm so sorry to hear of Reggie's passing. Reggie was my point of contact for the English Language Learners (ELL) population at the Education Department for the state. I've never met someone so invested, responsive to intervention, kind hearted and as cool as a cucumber. He was such an amazing and natural advocate for children and he was also a true friend.  I was always delighted to see him around the schools. He made the world a better and calmer place. They say to never question God, but why did he call this angel home? My sincere condolences to his family. May Reggie rest in power and peace. 

Reggie thank you! Thank you for being a true friend, thank you for always taking charge, thank you for always helping me get the bruhz together. We took this journey of Omega Psi Phi together and I could not have asked for a better group of guys. You are always one call away and welcomed me with open arms when I was in the city. Had a lot of fun road trips and even had some future trips in the works. Every time I come to Nashville sadly will be a hole in my heart, because we always either hung out at the bar watching sports and eating or you would open up your door to let your lil bro stay during my stay in the city. My heart goes out to each of you.

I helped Reggie purchase his first home.  He was SO excited and SO deserving. He was such a kind man and often talked about his students at school.  He made a difference in their lives.  I always thanked him and told him I was proud of him. My clients often become friends. I'm thankful to have known him. 

I pray that God gives you comfort and sustains you through this very difficult time. 

May God continue to bless you and give you peace.

Reggie made an impact on this world in a big way through his presence every day. He was so kind, consistent, caring, and loved people. He was the rock in our little condo family and went above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of. I will never forget our funny little exchanges in the parking lot as I would leave for the gym at 6am and he would already be coming back. He is deeply missed, and I feel lucky to have known him - his spirit is still around and is deeply felt. 

Without a doubt, Reggie was one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met. He was the rock of our little condo family, our go-to guy. He took care of us and did it well. His loss has been and will continue to be deeply felt by our building. I’m so grateful I had the honor of knowing him and being his neighbor for the past two years. We love you Reggie! 

I was just heartbroken to hear of Reggie's passing. I worked with Reggie at the West Side YMCA in Knoxville. I remember one t-ball season Reggie was short enough players to fill all the teams. He somehow "convinced" me to let my 2.5yo, who was still in diapers, to play! Only Reggie! My son is now 20 and still to this day, that is the only sport he has ever played! My daughter, Ashlin lived in Nashville for several years. She was out one night and just happened to meet Reggie! They started talking, put two & two together and realized that he and I knew each other from the Y! She was working for the Y in Nashville.  She texted me a picture of the two of them that night! And they quickly became the best of friends! He would give her rides to Knoxville on occasion when she came home for visits. Such a small world... of all people that my daughter would meet in Nashville, and it was Reggie! I always took comfort in knowing Reggie was there if Ashlin ever needed anything. His heart was as big as his infectious smile! He is so loved and will be deeply missed!
