Rachel Ann Lackey, age 41, of Bartlett Tennessee passed away on Monday March 25, 2019. She is now cancer free and with the Lord our God. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School, class of 1996. She leaves behind many friends who will miss her greatly. Going on vacation was one of her favorite things to do. Often Rachel was looking forward to the next road trip. Rachel and Chris were known to jump up and go on a whim. She was always very supportive of her kids and husband in all their hobbies and passions. She almost never missed a basketball game or race. Their loves were hers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rachel leaves behind her best friend and husband, Chris Lackey; two daughters, Jennifer and Savannah Scott; a son, Chase Lackey; her mother, Fannie Blackmon; her father and step mother, William Garrison and Lisa Garrison;a sister, Christy Sonderman; a brother, Matthew (Ashley) Garrison. She also leaves behind many nieces and a nephew that she loved dearly that called her “Ray Ray”.
A visitation for Rachel will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.Family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00PM with services immediately following at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will be at Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.
