Paulette Denise Klotz Wright, aged 79, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on January 7, 1945, in Montgomery, Alabama, Paulette lived a life marked by deep love for her family, friends, and her passion for genealogy.
A proud alumna of Sidney Lanier High School, Paulette carried a lifelong curiosity and dedication to uncovering her family's history. Her enthusiasm for genealogy led her to become an avid user of Ancestry.com, where she spent countless hours exploring her heritage and sharing her discoveries with loved ones.
Paulette is survived by her devoted sisters, Mary Jane Thomas and Hazel Norman, along with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her warmth and wisdom. She is preceded in death by her son Joe Bystricky, her parents, Paul and Mary Jane Paulger Klotz, her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Paulgerher, paternal grandparents Jules and Pauline Klotz, her sister Camille Klotz Smith, and her niece Bonnie Claridy. Known for her love of flowers, Paulette had a special talent for bringing beauty into the lives of those around her. Her vibrant garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and appreciation for nature's wonders. She was a proud volunteer for the State of Alabama Governor's office. Her friends were a treasured part of her life, and she was blessed with a wonderful group who
loved her dearly. Paulette's kindness, generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
