Pamela Bramlett Godsey, 63, passed from this life on March 18, 2019 after a long battle with lung cancer. In death she has been reunited with her Lord and Savior and those who have preceded her, namely her father, Burt Bramlett, her brother Steve Bramlett, and her son Justin Shepherd. She is survived by her mother, Betty Bramlett of Cordova, TN, her daughter Jill Shepherd-Vladimir (Alex) of Laurel, Md, five grandchildren, Piper, Abbey, Darby, and Kobe Shepherd of Denver Co, and Julian Vladimir of Laurel, MD as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pam was born on October 31, 1955. She graduated from Frayser High School in 1973. She was very artistic and loved creating things through decoupage. She loved music, all kinds, even country, much to the dismay of her children. She loved her family, her cats and living life. She was an avid shopper who never missed a chance to bargain hunt. Pam was the brightest light in any room with the best laugh that made her blue eyes sparkle. She was effervescently friendly to anyone and everyone she came in contact with and was loved by all who knew her. Our lives will be dimmer without her presence, but we have gained a radiant guardian angel in her passing. We will miss her and love her until we are reunited in heaven.
The family will receive guests on March 29, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue. A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at that location on March 30, 2019, with a light reception to follow. A private graveside service for the family will take place at 1:30pm at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
