Norma Jean Armstrong passed at the age of 87 years of age. She was born October 8, 1932 and died May 29, 2020 at her home. She lived her life in Fort Pickren and Memphis area. Norma was a retired employee of the Memphis State Bookstore. She leaves behind her children, Daisy Carpenter, Harrel "Eddie" Armstrong, Deborah "Debbie" Watson, Ronald Gary Armstrong, Barbara Ann Boss - Garcia, two adopted children, Harry D'ore and June Jacobs, four sisters, Shirley Lindsey, Emily Shafford, Janet Russell and Linda Davis. Three brothers, Buddy Clark, Michael Clark and Tim Clark, 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful lady and will be dearly missed. She held a very special place in our hearts even after she passed.
The family will receive family on Wednesday, June 3 from 5pm to 7pm at Memphis Funeral Home and on Thursday, June 4 from 12pm to 2pm with the Funeral service to begin at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar.
She will be buried at West Tennessee Veterans cemetery at a later date.
