It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Nina Williams Jones Brown, age 71 on October 22, 2024. She was born November 27, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Edward and Frances Williams.
She is survived by her children; Curry Jones (Thao) and Casey True (Brian) and Gregory Brown (Alex) & her most beloved grandchildren; Van Jones, Cotton & Caroline True, Aria & Jesse Brown.
Siblings John Williams (Martha), Carol Langston (Jimmy), Robert Williams (Carla) and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She worked for Methodist Healthcare over many years in different roles and positions and insisted she was going back after taking a brief leave. There she met and obtained many friendships whom all are heartbroken and will miss her spunky self tremendously. As well as all her other wonderful friends she had over the years.
She was an animal lover but fond to her personal cats and a bunch of stray cats and a raccoon and possum. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, and her last recipe of “Memaw’s Chicken and Rice” became her priority.
The family will receive friends on October 29, 2024, visitation from 4-6 and service at 6.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to The Glioblastoma Foundation or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
