First, I just want to send my condolences to the Young family. I am praying for you all. Also, remember that the Lord is with you at all times. At a young age, I knew Miles. We lived close to each other. I will never forget the bus rides, eating popsicles, and playing in my front yard. I will cherish all of the childhood memories. I am so thankful that I was able to talk to him a few months ago. Much love and prayers to the Young family.💖

Miles was one of my son’s best friends and I can’t explain the impact that he had on Dre’s life. All of our lives. It was always such a joy when my family was able to experience Miles’ beautiful spirit. Dre said that Miles taught him the value of building a relationship with God and many other very positive attributes. Miles sent me one of the absolute best messages that I have ever received in my life. We love you Miles! So much!  May God cover you and your loved ones forever. 

Miles is one of the most gracious people I have ever met. I believe that his joyous energy always transcended to those around him.  I am sure that his presence brought as much happiness to myself as it did his closest of kin. Miles and I lived together our first year at Morehouse, and we enjoyed most of the same things. 

You kept me laughing.
You showed the upmost dignity.
You were wise.
You were fearless.
You kept me motivated.
You knew all the right things to say.
You made me feel like we could conquer any and everything.

I didn't know miles but my son did as he attends Morehouse with him.  My son spoke so high of Miles and said he was such a nice guy. May God comfort his family. !!!

First and Foremost I’d like to send my deepest condolences to the Young Family in this difficult time. May God hold you close now and forever. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Miles in NYC and Los Angeles — I had never met such a remarkable young man. He was remarkable , intelligent, inquisitive young spirit. Miles’ spirit was infectious— impossible to duplicate; I can still hear his laugh— one of a kind.
Although, It saddens me that I won’t see his bright smile or a new hair duo expressing his pure originality like only Miles can— I’m forever Grateful to Diamond for sharing a piece of her heart with me. Thank you D, I love you.

To my cousin Tammy, Steve, and the Young family, you have my sympathies and prayers during this time. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Miles at Morehouse. He said “ Hi Auntie”!! He was a friend of my nephew Keon.   The picture speaks a thousands words for me.
Keon, Justin & Miles becoming Morehouse Men. He will be truly missed. The AUC will keep Miles in our heart.

Miles was such a loving person and I am grateful that I was able to create long-lasting memories with him and his family. It wasn’t until I met Miles that I learned how to truly let go and live life to the fullest. He always encouraged me to be resilient, confident and to go after anything that I put my mind to. His authenticity, encouraging words, humor, creativity, spontaneity, incredible style, and confidence were only half of the reasons that he was admired by not only myself but many. He will truly be missed.  Sending much love, many hugs, and prayers over to the Young Family. May God strengthen and heal your broken hearts. 


I first met Miles when I visited and later joined Ardmore Terrace under the leadership of his father Pastor Steven B Young and First Lady Tammy Young. Miles always greeted me with a smile and with utmost respect! I watched him grow over the years from a young child to a young respected adult but what I remember the most about him was that one day he was small then I looked up again and he had grown as tall as his father and uncles! Miles you will greatly be missed by all of us! Too the family I love you and may God keep and bless each one of you!

I met Miles when I became a member of his father's church Admore Terrance Baptist Chirch and me becoming great friends of his mother Tammy Young.  Miles was always kind and sweet everytime I saw him.  He was truly a child of God. Myself and my family will truly miss such a sweet soul.

Miles was one of my best friends. I met him my freshman year 2018, at Morehouse. He was such a great person and focused on his kindness and purity. He was the person that made you feel better, that made your issues seem more important than his. He genuinely loved. I’m grateful we crossed paths and learned so much from each other. He led me to Jesus. I’m grateful for my guardian angel. I love you Miles bro. I’m gonna be forever hurt by this bro. You meant so much to me. 

Miles was a student in my English composition classes his first year at Morehouse.  He was such a delight, such a joy.  His smiles were ever present, but he also brought excellent thoughts and questions and insight into whatever was the day's task.
My heart is cracked open with his becoming an ancestor so early in his journey.  
To his beloved family--I will hold you in my heart forever.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I had Miles in my 6th grade class and he was a delightful, intelligent, and respectful young man with a fabulous sense of humor. RIP
