Mildred Darby Gordon, 93, of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully in Fairfield Bay, Ark on May 16, 2013. Mildred was the former office manager at Gordon Equipment Company. She was a longtime member of Colonial Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Ward Gordon and her son William Edward Gordon whom she cared for in her home for fifteen years.
She was a loving, caring and devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
She leaves behind one daughter, Patricia Adams (Ron) of Edgemont, AR,
one sister Chat S. Smith of Louisiana, MO and one loving grandson, Brooks Crump II of Germantown, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday May 19th 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar Ave. Services will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will take place a Memorial Park Cemetery. The family request donations be made to Colonial Baptist Church, Memphis, TN.
