Mike McDurmon, 88, Of Memphis, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. He was retired plumber from plumbers local #17, and member of Audubon Park Baptist Church. Mike was a WWII Army Veteran and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents Lon Jackson and Mittie McDurmon, one sister Kittie Lee, three brothers Lon, Bill, Tommy McDurmon and a son Jerry McDurmon. Mike leaves his loving wife of 67 years Martha G. McDurmon, a daughter Vicki Nevels (Gordon), two sons Allen McDurmon (Deborah) and Michael McDurmon (Sandra), six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12pm, until service time at 2pm, on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Family Funeral Care with interment to follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Germantown. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to Audubon Park Baptist Church, 4060 Park Ave, Memphis, TN 38111.
