Michelle was born and raised in Memphis, Tn; where she met her husband at the age of 15 and married in 1974, at the age 18. Over the years she put the most focus on raising her family. She had some of the most fun being a grandmother and taking on new adventures. Michelle enjoyed taking photos, drawing, reading, traveling with family, and late night jigsaw puzzles (with an occasional glass of wine). She was a Christian and long member of Bartlett Church of Christ.
Michelle is survived by her Husband, Billy, of 50 years; their three sons and two daughter-in-laws Jason/Kim, Jeremy, and Justin/Yu; her sister, Charlotte; six grandchildren Kristin (Jake), Joshua (Ashley), Gavin (Bailee), Sara, Elliott, Bianca; and six great-grandchildren
She was known to many as the center of the family, a woman who had unconditional love for her family, a protector, and a genuinely pure hearted woman. Through her many roles, she impacted many lives through her true strength, wisdom, spirit, and unwavering love. She will forever be loved by her family and friends, and known for her brightness, pure love and strength that she gave to her family everyday.
A visitation for Michelle will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 beginning at 10:30 AM until her funeral service at 12:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. The committal service will immediately follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
