I loved Grandpa so much. I have many good memories of spending time with him
when I was younger. Mostly, having fun by the pool with the radio on when I would travel to his home for summer vacation. When I was really young, we used to go get ice cream together at Baskin Robins, which was a wonderful treat. Another great memory was driving golf balls with him at the range as he taught me how to practice better. We also used to play cards after dinner. Usually, Poker or Gin Rummy was his favorite game to play with me. I will always miss Grandpa and the times I had with him. A recent time of me going to a golf range I thought would be a nice photo to commemorate him. I love you, Grandpa.

Thinking about you today, Dad. I love you and miss you very much.   I remember like it was yesterday when you came to Vicenza Italy for my promotion.  I’ve always been proud that you are my father   Xoxoxo

Dearest Dad,
Growing up I was Daddy's little monkey. We shared a special bond as Dad and daughter. To the outside world he was a strong, and tough Army officer. He showed me a different side with a soft and tender heart. Mom and me visited Nana and Grandpa. Dad stayed home and took care of my pet hamster Chewy. I was worried about Chewy, but Dad said that he would take good care of him. When I returned home I ran back to my bedroom. Chewy was different. I asked Dad what happened to Chewy. Dad had tears in his eyes and said that Chewy wrapped himself up in his soft blanket and didn't wake up. He couldn't bear to have me return home to an empty cage. He took off work and bought another hamster that would become known as Chewy #2.  This was my first experience with death. He said that Chewy #2 could never replace Chewy, but he needed my care and love just the same. A parent's job is to love their child no matter what. No parent can protect their child from life's unavoidable disappointments. I was fortunate to have my Dad for 62 years. He taught me many valuable lessons. I am grateful to have been his daughter. May you rest in peace with Mom in everlasting life in Heaven.

The Brooklyn Dodgers moved to Los Angeles in 1958.  My father remained loyal to the team rather than the location.

It is with joy and fondness that I remember my high school years hanging out at the Fucci Home. There was always Mrs. Fucci trying to direct the circus. But in the background was a very quiet and commanding presence of a military gentleman that none of us dared disturb - Colonel Fucci! 

I remember he had gifted Mike the family car that our unit of friends rode around in during our high school years raising Cain.  I too had a family car for use in high school with similar memories attached.  One day as we were near graduation, I found myself in my car (with our dear friends, Brad and Rick inside) chasing behind Mike (driving his car with his girlfriend, Debbie, at his side). God only knows why, but he and Debbie decided to switch positions at the steering wheel while still in the act of driving the car.  I can't understand how a crazy scenario with high school friends chasing each other in cars would ever happen, but it did. Next thing, the car crashed into a small tree - not a big enough tree to hurt anyone, but big enough to total his car. I remember all of us gathered around the car, and all I was thinking was "Mike is a dead man walking once his father finds out!"

Turns out that Mike survived the inevitable confession! The Colonel was, after all, an amazing father who probably remembered back to when he (himself) was "young, dumb, and full of...well...you get the picture." So that was the sad end to all our amazing times riding around in Mike's car. Who knew then that that Mike would go on to become an attorney in the Air Force. I suppose, the Colonel and Mrs. Fucci knew all along how successful their son would be.

I hope that God comforts you all in this moment, knowing that they were not missing each other for very long, and that they are now together for eternity.  While every day on earth is a blessing, it is not even close to the joy they are now feeling together in heaven.

He was a wonderful grandfather, who was so proud of all his grand children and their achievements.

When also the second parent is gone we become orphans but don't lose the roots and values received from our dear ones in life. And Michael did transmit that love to his children who returned it to him with dedication until his last day. These sentiments will never go away and be of comfort and help go beyond the pain of the loss. Sonia

Uncle Mike  has always been a major part of my life.  My mother and father were very close to him and to Aunt Vivian and were extremely proud of his accomplishments.  I remember when they returned from their tour of duty in Germany, my father went to pick up them (and their beautiful collie) at the Brooklyn Navy Yard where their ship docked.  It was very much like a special holiday in our house.  Excitement ran high and their homecoming didn’t disappoint; we had a wonderful reunion.  We became very good friends with Aunt Vivian’s family in Jersey City and spent many Thanksgiving holidays with her parents and grandparents.  Those holidays are among my happiest memories.

In 2019, right before the pandemic, I visited Aunt Viv and Uncle Mike in Germantown.  It was a wonderful night.  He told great stories of his experiences in the army and my friend, Ellen, and I were totally spellbound.  He reaffirmed what I already knew:  that Uncle Mike was a humble, kind, generous, loving, gentle, smart man who was respected by the men who served him and certainly by all who knew him.  I will miss my phone conversations with him and his calm and quiet manner.  He has been an inspiration to me and I loved him very much.

My deepest condolences to Michael John, Regina and Mike, their children and grandchildren.  We have all lost a very special man who was an important part of our lives.

Col. Michael Fucci was a great man.  A man who cared and loved his family. 

His memory will always remain with us as he passed along his love, commitment, and care for family, friends, country, and garden. 

I know Great Grandpa Michael had his tomato garden, and now his great grandchild Danny is keeping alive the tradition of knowing the beauty that Earth produces when something is planted. 

May God bring confort as He is only able to. 

We love you all and remember, we shall meet again.

Sending my sincerest condolences to the whole family.  I met Col. Fucci when I was a teenager and looked up to him as a very wise and strong  leader, very loyal to his family, his country, and his community.   May the family find joy in many loving memories, and with the knowledge that he and Vivian are now reunited in Heaven.

We wish to send our sincerest condolences on the passing of my much loved Uncle Mike to Michael John, Regina and their families.
I was 11 years old & remember their wedding. Aunt Vivian so beautiful and Uncle Mike so handsome in his military uniform.  We didn't see much of the couple as he was in service over seas and various US locations.  When we did see each other they were always loving and gracious to everyone.  Distance may have separated us from  them and their families, but but they were always in our hearts and minds.

Dearest Dad/Daddy,

You were always my strength and my guide (more than I wanted you to be at times).  
You taught me that the “hard right” is always better than the “easy wrong.”  You helped me understand that anything worth having takes a lot of dedication and work, no  matter what it is that one seeks to attain.  You earned a lot of success in your life and everyone’s admiration… and you did it the old-fashioned way – tenacity, faith, courage, striving for perfection… and above all: you worked for every bit of it!

You gave true meaning to the protection and guidance.   I thank you for that. 

The wisdom that you shared with me has become foundational in my life. You were not only smart, but you were savvy and you knew people very well.   I’ve always been in awe of your achievements… starting out in the humblest of circumstances, born into a farming family with 10 brothers and sisters, becoming the first one of the family to graduate from college, attaining one of the highest ranks one can attain in the U.S Army, your sports achievements (you excelled in every sport you engaged in, from wrestling to baseball and from golf to fishing and bowling ), and on top of that, and most importantly, you were an incredible husband, and the best father, grandfather, and great grandfather that any child could hope for.   You were truly a gift from God.  I now know this as I know that God is watching out for you and Mom right now.  This last year has been very painful for you when you lost my mom and your wife of almost 72 years. But I also know that you prayed for her every day and night since she died.  I pray that you are reunited. 

I don't want to let you go, but I must.

You will live in my heart and memories forever.  Farewell. I have loved you more than you ever knew.  Goodbye Dad..and though I will love and miss you for the rest of my life, I'll be seeing you soon enough.  I love you,  Your son,  Michael
