Mike Barber, 41, died at home suddenly of a heart attack on Friday August 25, 2017. Mike was a childhood cancer survivor and a former St. Jude patient, and he credited that experience to his lust for life. He celebrated each birthday as a welcomed gift. Family was so important to Mike and he considered his friends his family as well. Mike loved spending time with his friends fishing and playing pool, and he loved spending time accessorizing his beloved truck. His biggest passion of all was loving and cherishing the love of his life, his wife Kacy. Mike leaves behind his wife Kacy Barber, mother Lynn Simms (Randy), father Michael Barber (Paula), siblings Britain, Paul and Brandy, and his challenging but special animals. Everyone who knew Mike loved him and he will be missed dearly by so many. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude.
