Melinda Griffin Roberts Quick

Melinda Quick, 55, of Memphis, Tennessee died August 31, 2012 at home. A graduate of Raleigh Egypt High School, Melinda was a dedicated caretaker to her mother Imogene and father Walter Roberts . Her father preceded her in death less than two years ago. Melinda was a long time employee of The Shopper’s News. An avid ‘garage saler’ herself, she was always looking for that last and greatest bargain. The memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 3rd of September, in the sanctuary of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church located at 5530 Shady Grove Road, Memphis, TN, where Jarad Bingham, Senior Pastor, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent fellowship hall. Along with her mother Imogene, Mrs. Quick is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Hal Quick; daughter Lisa (Paul) Miller; son Jamie Quick; brother Michael Roberts; grandchildren Quintin Miller (4 years old) and Emmitt Miller (2 years old). Contributions in honor of Melinda may be made to the Midsouth Peace and Justice Center or the Lupus Foundation.
