Mattie Mae Clark, 90 years of age, passed on Friday, February 23, 2024. Mattie was born in Nanafalia, Alabama to the late Lure and Rose Wilson. She was the oldest of four daughters. Mattie was educated in the John J. Pershing H. S. , in Detroit Michigan and graduated in 1951. She later attended Wayne State University.
Mattie married the late Jeff Clark , Jr. and three daughters were born one preceded her in death. She retired with 32 years of service with Department of Treasury (IRS) 35 years ago.
A visitation for Mattie will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home Stage Road Chapel, 4445 Stage Road, Memphis, TN 38128.
