Aunt Doll was known for her homemade dishes. She was one of the best cooks and loved cooking for her family and friends. Her homemade soups, salmon croquettes and caramel cakes made her famous. Cooking was her happy place and her kitchen was her favorite room in the house. 

My name is Annie Tate, I never got to see or speak with Aunt Doll. What I did know about her was her cooking. Thank you Aunt Doll your salmon patties was the best. I will forever remember your kindness.

I remember growing up on 53rd st.and one day my sisters and I skipped school and we had Darryl and Kent in our house. My Mom came home early and we had Mrs Watson to call her over to her house til we got them out. We were next door neighbors. We were always at her house.  She was always like a 2nd Mom to us. We laughed abt that day for years lol 

To the Watson n Mims family, you have my deepest condolences. May Mae Ella continue to RIParadise.  Love you❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our family will not be the same without Aunt Doll. I know we’ll find comfort in each other and we”ll get through this together. A remarkable woman who touched the lives of anyone she came in contact with you can finally Rest In Peace.
